Had to come up with new words
To describe what I do
To stranger folks along the way
And so…

Here is a piece I threw together tonight.
Called How What When Why Constantly.
The lyrics came early early one AM this week.
The synth loop came tonight.

I’m going to try a Song a Week or So for another year. 52 in total.
Starting this week January 18, 2008.
This one came to me during the week and I put it down today in Garageband with my Duet etc. It’s called “Up to You”. But the Up to You part is more about “looking Up to You” not “ITS up to you”. I was originally thinking this might be a good Atomsplit cartoon big song. Done with drums and electric guitars etc of course.
Here’s the lyrics. Rather simple. But that’s my style
I’m calling out to you
I’m calling out
I’m crawling into view
I’m crawling out
Wanna breathe anew
Wanna breathe, the air
I’m calling out to you
I’m calling out
chourus
Need to turn to you
Need to turn
Need to see this through
Now i’ve come to know
Wanna taste anew
Wanna tast
Need to turn to you
Need to turn
chouruses
I’m looking up to you
I’m looking up
Need to feel the truth
In my bones
I’m looking out to you
I’m looking out
I’m looking up to you
I’m looking up
At ye ole Land of 1000 Hills Coffee in Roswell Georgia.
I’ll be doing 2 sets with Jason at the Land of 1000 Hills Coffee in Roswell GA this Saturday August 9th, starting at 8PM.
So I was joined for a set by original Atomsplit guitar player Jason Colby this Saturday night at the gig. Jason is also know as my brother. We had a great time and played some old Atomsplit songs in the set. Here’s one and more on my Flickr page.

I had a great time at Music Strategies L.A. over the previous weekend. What a great bunch of nice and TALENTED folks. I got to perform “The Thing is Love” solo on bass.
I plan on posting links to some of the Artist’s sites soon. But in the meantime I put some photos from the trip on Flickr here.
Thanks to the nice folks (staff and patrons) at 1000 Hills Coffee last night for a great evening of music outdoors on the patio.
for spinning my tune “Thick to Thin” on your shows!
